Adam Fulton is a civil engineer and identified an issue with regard to drainage ponds. Drainage ponds are generally positioned adjacent to building site locations to allow for runoff and proper water management. Of course, the size of these ponds is based upon the amount of expected water flow and the allowed amount of water discharge from the pond.
Adam recognized a weakness in the underlying analysis of draining the water, and developed his "Thirsty Duck" (www.thirstyduckinc.com) to optimize the water throughput for draining a pond. Mr. Fulton developed his product, acquired a broad patent covering the concept of draining bodies of water more effectively, and through a contact at a trade show formed a strategic alliance to take his concept to fruition.
